Oh Hai There Creepy Crate!

Hallow's End is upon us once more!

Hasten ye to Orgrimarr and Stormwind to embark upon a new adventure, which will eventually result in this creepy crate following you home. He will clatter behind you all clickety clackety, occasionally popping up an eye-- or a tongue-- for a quick look around. Get him too close to a critter and ZAP! purpley lightning will wrap around them and suck them into the crate.

Watch out tho-- I haven't found a way to get rid of the foul stench from his green gaseous emissions...

 

BREAKING NEWS: There seems to be a shadow priest lurking within the creepy crate! the shadow orbs do not lie!

Radio Silence

I've been keeping to myself this week due to having too much going on IRL and in-game. And knowing when to hold your tongue is a good thing.

I have encountered some interesting glitches as of late that I shall share with you now, in lieu of more words...

Hallow's End Starts Today!

Things got a little Spooky in the World of Warcraft in the wee hours of the morning today. It's the start of the annual Hallow's End celebrations, marking the break of the Foresaken from the Lich King.

The peeps at WoWHead put together a comprehensive guide to all the fun and merry making in store for those in pursuit of the Hallowed achievement.

I got off to a good start, including scoring a Sinister Squashling from the Horseman, 3-manned with my usual hit squad.  I was somewhat surprised I hadn't done more of these achievements last year on the shadow priest, but then again, I was still raiding Alliance-side at that point, so I guess there wasn't enough time to do everything. Unfortunately, RL calls so no additional time for trick-or-treating or achievement crawling today.

Fun fact: Dalaran has 3 candy buckets available to you: your faction Inn, Ledgermain Lounge and the Cantrips and Crows Inn at the Sewer.

Scourge and Halloween Activities...

I spent much time on Halloween accomplishments, obtaining a squashling on 3 out of 5 70s. And on a couple of lowbie alts too. This one tickled me tho...because this guy is actually nearly as tall as my gnome!

I love my magic broom. And I am sad it has only 1 day left on it. Why can't we have permanent brooms? Why Bizz?? Why? Oh, and the ability to be mounted on top of the water when affected by water walking is made of win.

I did more Kara in the past 10 days than I had in months. Somehow, I had 4 toons in there, grabbing their vampire batlings. But the most fun from all of it was winning the arcanite ripper. It really can put on a good show...
